Alex Cequea

Sustainable business student at Maharishi University of Management

I am Alex Cequea.
I was born one cold morning on the 8th of june of 1982 in martin, Tennessee. My mom was there, and so was my dad, I hear.
When I was three years old my mom took me back to the native land of Venezuela, where I was kindly raised until I moved back to the States at 12 years of age. I spent 10 years in Houston, TX and through tennis I was ranked in the state of Texas and eventually got a scholarship to play for a small Texas university close to the Mexican border (UT-Pan American)
I later moved back to Houston where I extended my journey of self-discovery and found myself digging into books like The Celestine Prophecy and Conversations With God among many others. This led me to seek out more from life than just a college degree and a safe job.

I ran across Maharishi University of Management online, and was re-assured that I belonged there after seeing it mentioned in the movie "What the Bleep do we know?"
Now I am a student at MUM and I couldn't be more thrilled. I am majoring in Business Management.

I am honored to be part of the massive spiritual revolution our planet is going through.

The only time that exists is now, enjoy it.
