Moby Crashes High School Prom...

So the David Lynch Weekend is over. Moby ended up crashing a high school prom and performing for the kids...you can watch the video here, and David Lynch crowned the Prom king and queen at the same event...you can watch that here. Donovan also played for the kids, and you can watch that video here. They also jammed in the garage right before going into the prom...here's that video.

I got to perform with a group of students on opening night for all the visitors including Donovan, David Lynch, and John Hagelin. We ended up doing a parody of Donovan's "Mellow Yellow" and he loved it. For the rest of the weekend he kept running into us and telling us how great it was. That video (along with Donovan's reaction) will be up as soon as we get through the many hours of footage we got from the weekend.

We were also granted interviews with all those guys, and they were absolutely great. David Lynch and Donovan both gave us hugs :-) Moby didn't give me a hug after our interview but he did say some neat things.

Lots of fun, and lots of amazing people at our school.

PS: I also met Kurt Loder, I told him "Hey I remember you from when I used to watch TV..." Really nice guy, he just laughed and ended up talking for a bit.
